Imparato Crew
Status: The crew is pictured above prior to overseas assignment, and was taken on 12Nov44. They arrived at Harrington on 13Dec44, appearing in Special Orders# 236. Names have not been matched to all faces, but Oliver is far right front row and Robert Gouge is far left back row. They came directly into the night bombing period of Dec44-Mar45. They were shot down on the night of 7/8 March 1945. The remains of six of the crew members are buried in a single plot in the Arlington National Cemetery. Keesey escaped the fatal mission as only nine crewmen were needed for the night bombing missions.
