Status: Original 788th BS crew, the number of combat missions flown by crewmembers before they came to Harrington is unknown. They logged 28 missions at Harrington before returning to the Zone of the Interior in late August of 1944.

The plane was apparently without name or nose art at Harrington. Remaining in service throughout the period of the original 788th crews' service at Harrington, in December of 1944 it was flown to Italy for service with the 859th BS by the Robins crew.

On the night of August 11/12 1944 the crew inserted Mission ANIS to the BOB 224 DZ.
