The crew
arrived from the 70th Replacement Depot
in late October, being assigned to
the 857th BS on
arrival. From the
Late Period Log it doesn't appear
they flew a combat mission until the night of
27/28 December 1944, and then
not again until
21/22 February 1945. Webb then appears only five
more times
in the Ops Log until being assigned to
"Mosquito Transition
Training" at Watton with the
25th BG at the end of March 1945. Webb piloted
Mosquito missions four times in April 1945, before
disappearing from
Harrington records.
