Arriving at Harrington minus a copilot, this crew was broken up and did not fly as a crew with the Carpetbaggers, though most flew some Carpetbagger missions. Moorhead flew as CP to James McLaughlin, 858th BS. Williams, a Bombardier, flew only one combat mission with the Group, with George Johnson, of the 859th BS after his crew had been "re-arranged". Zellmer also flew his lone combat mission with Johnson, as did Cookerow, Albers, McMahon, and Mantel.
