The crew in the UK (possibly).
A really good picture at either location has yet to be found. They were probably near the end of their tour when shot down on the night of 6/7 August 1944 over Belgium. A rare incident in that there were no fatalities and only two POWs, the rest all evading successfully. They logged 22 Carpetbagger missions, and an unknown number of combat missions at Rackheath before coming to Harrington.
Ginter and Clark were orphaned at Rackheath, fate unknown. Along on an observation mission, William F. Reagan,ASN 0821357, a replacement pilot from the 850th BS also went down with them. Olenych and Reagan were taken prisoner, all others evaded successfully and returned to the UK in September 1944.
