Knapp Crew
Kingdon R. Knapp and crew are known only from the Operations

are the combat entries. There were numerous diversions and mechanical
troubles. The crew flew Joan/Eleanor (Red
Stocking) missions gathering intelligence
from agents inside Germany. Roy Tebbutt has acquired a short bio of

three crew - Pilot, Navigator and Recorder. Invariably it was Knapp and Jackson
as crewmen, and Ancrum or Pequet as the third flyer. Aircraft used were British
Mosquitos.
