Errata:
Bromberg changed his MOS to 884 (Radio Observer)after
the move to Alconbury and did not fly any combat missions thereafter. Barrett's
ASN does not match with the NARA record for that number.
Holzworth became
Assistant Ops Officer after the 27 Dec 43 crash of the
Williams crew, a
short list of Holzworth's combat flights includes:
MR 0047 - Extra CP to Carpenter
MR
0054 - Copilot to Pipkin
MR 0285 - Pilot to a makeup crew
MR 0300 - CP to Merrill
MR 0385 - Pilot to a makeup crew
MRs 0568, 0606, 0705 and
0733, 4 missions with
Harrison's former crew. Holzworth also flew C-47 Missions 06,21,31,34 all
in late August and early September of 1944. He is logged for one C-47 flight in
August and four C-47 missions in September, but by the end of that month
he still had only 25 missions completed and was probably to remain at
Harrington for some time. His final appearance in the Ops Log occurred
on the night of 24/25 March 1945; a mission to Norway.
