406th/858th BSs
Hendrickson
Crew

Their date of arrival at Harrington is not known but was more than likely late June or early July of 1944. Hendrickson flew only one observer mission before flying a mission with his full crew, rather unusual for a Carpetbagger pilot during that period. No picture of the crew has been found, and we know the crew only from their Mission Reports. From other records their full names are found to be:

Preferred Aircraft:

The crew does not appear to have had a preferred aircraft if their mission reports are any indication. The three Joes delivered on the night of 7/8 Sep '44 were the Jedburgh Team GEORGE II, dispatched with Mission Shinoile to the Bordeaux area to work with an organizer named "Temporal".

By the time Operations drew down in mid-September of 1944, the crew had 30 missions under their belt. Five members could have completed their tour with gas-haul missions, the other three possibly subbed to finish their tour.

Agents carried/delivered:
